~ About the site
kitz.co.uk is a privately owned website primarily focused on broadband information and xDSL broadband related technology.
The site is one of the UK's largest xDSL broadband resource sites and offers many DSL tutorials and self help information. It is well respected within the adsl/broadband industry and many Internet Service Providers also use it as a resource site.
This site is fully independent and has no financial ties with any ISP. Our advice is completely impartial.
If you wish to contact us about site related matters, then you can do so at

The above email address should not be used for questions of a technical nature or help with broadband related incidents. Instead you should post your query in the relevant section of the Broadband Help Forum, where friendly and knowledgeable members of the community will try to assist you.
kitz.co.uk was originally a hobby, but in 2003 it started to become a repository for adsl information that wasn't readily available elsewhere. There's a timeline (no longer maintained) of its earlier days here.
What you see today is a cumulation of much research and many years of hard work, which has taken up a large portion of the owners free time.
Over the years the main site has grown enormously both in content and traffic to become a very busy site serving thousands of individual users each and every day.
Magazine and Press Article history can be seen here.
The site is not for profit and for many years was funded solely by its owner. As the site grew and became more popular, the running costs obviously started to grow too.
To cover running & hosting costs we rely on donations and a small amount of advertising.
Site up-keep, management and content takes up a huge amount of unpaid time.
If you feel this site has been of use to you please consider making a secure donation towards its hosting costs.
The site has a forum and active community which is frequented by many knowledgeable members, ISP representatives and other industry related workers. Their contribution to the site is acknowledged and very much appreciated.
Visit the help & discussion forums.
UK Internet Service Providers wishing their services and/or products listing should contact the site at
Unfortunately due to the large amount of UK ISPs we only cater to those ISPs who directly purchase wholesale services and we do not normally list vISPs (virtual ISPs) or resellers.
Ultimately details of products, prices etc will be the ISP's responsibility and the ISP should advise us of any amendments.
We can accept RSS feeds or similar or completion of the supplied pro forma.
We do undertake routine checks to ensure prices are kept up to date.
ISP tags for the forum are only issued to those ISP representatives who can be verified as genuine and working for an ISP.
